I built a stable life through my military career but I saw the toll that constant moves took on my children. Wanting a career that allowed me to help others, something that remains my passion to this day, I set out to find a new path.
As humans, we are capable of overcoming great challenges—all we need is the right support by our side. My journey is proof of this.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, I grew up with my auntie and grandmother. We didn’t have much materially but I had an abundance of love, and that was my foundation. When my father brought me to Orlando at 15, I faced a tough adjustment, not knowing the language. Still, I worked hard and managed to graduate high school. My dream was to attend college, but my family couldn’t afford it. That’s when I learned the military could cover my education and I decided to join, marking the beginning of a 24-year career in the military.
I worked in human resources, handling financial, travel, and all administrative and functional aspects for Soldiers. This role taught me how to listen. Senior Leadership came with complex issues, and it was my job to understand their situation and process everything correctly. Some walked in happy, others burdened, but by listening without judgment, I earned their trust.
During this time, I got married and started my family. As joyful as it was, I also experienced multiple miscarriages. Mothers who have endured this pain know how deeply it hurts. This experience softened me and strengthened my empathy, making me more attuned to the support women need.
My children traveled with me every time I was relocated. We packed up and started over in a new place every 2-3 years. While this built resilience, I saw the toll it took on them—leaving friends, schools, and familiarity behind. I wanted to give them a more stable life, which led me to consider a career change. That’s when a friend suggested real estate. In 2018, I got my license and entered a completely new field.
From the start, I knew I had found my passion, especially in helping first-time homebuyers. Many people believe homeownership is out of reach, and nothing compares to the joy of showing them it’s possible.
One of the biggest influences on my work style was my last boss in the military. She valued family and showed us that work wasn’t everything. Those who worked with her had high morale and were joyful to be part of her team; her balance allowed us to have balance too. Her example shaped my work ethic and helped me create a balance in my own life.
Though it isn’t always easy, I make it a priority to balance faith, family and work. This commitment has also allowed me to pursue a Doctor of Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling. I’ve always been passionate about faith and wanted to deeply understand the Bible—not just for myself, but to help others. Now, I can offer guidance that is both practical and spiritually rooted.
Looking back, I am incredibly proud of my journey—serving in the military, building a business, and earning a doctorate degree all while mastering a second language. I’m also proud of my children, who have endured so much yet remain resilient. We spend a lot of time together and love to travel.
I also dedicate time to my church, where I lead a women’s empowerment group. We organize events that bring in professionals to share their stories, inspiring women to grow in confidence and purpose. Helping people is at the heart of everything I do—whether it’s through real estate or by holding space for someone who’s on a self-discovery journey –– because success isn’t just about financial gain; it’s about finding peace, purpose, and meaningful connection that help us conquer life’s biggest challenges.
As a caring and relationship-driven REALTOR®, my priority is helping people achieve their dreams—especially first-time homebuyers who may feel uncertain about the process. Guiding them to homeownership and seeing their joy is truly priceless. Regardless of who I work with, I am fully committed to their success, doing whatever it takes to turn their goals into reality.
One of my greatest strengths is negotiation—I don’t give up easily or let transactions fall. I’m solution-oriented, always striving for win-win outcomes and ensuring all parties stay aligned. Throughout the process, I remain level-headed, highly organized, and maintain systems that guarantee my clients receive top-tier service. I’m always available to communicate—except on Sundays, which are reserved for church. Specializing in both residential and commercial real estate, I look forward to guiding the next person on their journey to homeownership.
